Article 10 - Layoffs |

|
|
|
10.01 The Employer will give the employee four (4)
hours notice of layoff. Four hours paid may be given in lieu
of notice.
10.02 The Employer will not be required to give notice
of layoff when equipment failure, shortage of material, or
other reasons beyond the control of the Employer cause a
stoppage of operation.
10.03 The Employer agrees to notify the Union office of
the names of employees laid off within the pay period of the
date during which the layoff occurred, together with the
employee's classification and latest available phone number.
